Community

The Glenora Community is bounded by 142 street to the west, 107 avenue to the north, Groat Road to the east and Ravine Drive to the south.

There are many homes of historic significance in Glenora.  The geographic area has played an interesting role in the  development of early 20th century Edmonton. Glenora School is located within walking distance of three ravines including the river valley. Glenora is a highly walkable community with ready access to a range of family friendly amenities. Glenora is  primarily a family oriented community with more than enough children to maintain our school as a vibrant hub.

The Glenora Community League is extremely active and enthusiastically supported by the area residents. A newer children’s playground and splash park are located at the community league. There is also a public junior high, Westminster, located in the community.
