Glenora School  is a Level 2 closed boundary school for the 2023-2024 school year. Current students are not affected by this change should they wish to continue at the school. 

As outlined in Division regulations, the only new students accepted to our school during pre-enrolment are:

Resident students who live within the attendance area.
Siblings of current students who will be returning to the school the following year.
If the student you are registering or pre-enrolling meets one of these criteria for the 2022-2023 school year, please register them online (new students) or pre-enrol through SchoolZone (existing students). 

Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4 pm on April 14, 2023, the school will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the attendance area or resident students eligible for Kindergarten.

Additional documentation may be required, including additional address documents, or immigration documents for students who are not Canadian citizens. 
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accept Property tax bill, Cell/home phone bill, Internet bill, Driver's license, Bank statement, Mutual funds or Retirement Saving Plans.

We will accept the following:

  • electricity bill
  • natural gas bill
  • water, garbage pickup, and sewer
  • mortgage document with proof of home insurance or
  • lease agreement with proof of tenant insurance

When does registration begin?

All EPSB schools open for new registrations on February 1, 2023. Applying after the April 14th deadline may limit the spaces available for your child. 


Who can apply to Glenora Kindergarten?

 Based on past enrollment trends, Glenora has been able to accept all designated resident students without going to a lottery. Due to high registration numbers, Glenora does not anticipate accepting Kindergarten students from outside of our designated attendance area. 

Do you offer morning and afternoon programs?

In consideration of the high registration numbers, Glenora is anticipating the possibility of both a morning and afternoon  Kindergarten program. In the event we do offer both morning and afternoon classes, preference for the morning program will be given to students registered with an Out of School Care program. 

Who is eligible to register?

Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2023, and are resident students may register with EPSB for Kindergarten for 2023-24. resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. 

How do I register?

EPSB does not operate on a first-come, first-served basis.  Parents wishing to enroll their eligible child in Kindergarten should: fill out the digital student registration form, which is available on the Division website starting Feb. 1, 2023.  Please be prepared to upload supporting documents that prove your child’s legal name and birth datehome address and citizenship.
