2026-27 Pre-Enrolment & Registration
CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL
You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens at 8 a.m. on February 2.
For the 2026-2027 school year, Glenora School will be a Level 1 school with open boundaries on EPSB’s Growth Control Model. The following students will be guaranteed a spot provided they register during pre enrolment and provide necessary documentation:
- Attendance area resident students (living in Glenora and Glenora West)
- Siblings of current students who are returning for 2026/2027
Remaining spaces (if available) will be allocated in this order:
- Resident students regardless of address (must have one non Roman Catholic parent residing in Edmonton)
- Other students (Roman Catholic parents or out of Edmonton address)
We will consider pre-enrolment requests of resident students outside of our attendance area in order to balance class numbers, provided that there is space. Based on current enrolment, we do not anticipate having space in any grades for students living outside of our attendance area.
If the number of resident students who want to attend the school exceeds the available space, new applicants are chosen by random selection.
If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.
Principal's Message
Welcome to Glenora School!
Nestled in one of Edmonton’s most historic neighborhoods, Glenora Elementary School is home to Kindergarten through Grade 6 students. Here at Glenora, our focus is on nurturing literacy and numeracy, seamlessly integrating them across Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. Every day, our students challenge themselves to think critically, not just about their subjects but about the world around them. They engage in a wide array of classroom activities that push them to grow.
In Grade 6, we proudly implement the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP), preparing students for future success. Glenora students truly embody the IBMYP learner profile—becoming inquirers, knowledgeable thinkers, communicators, principled individuals, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective.
Beyond core subjects, our students thrive in Art and Music programs from Kindergarten to Grade 6, as well as a French program from Grades 4-6. Glenora is a place where excellence is the norm, living up to our motto, “Wisdom gives you Wings,” as we challenge ourselves academically, physically, emotionally, and artistically. We are committed to creating an environment where both teaching and learning flourish.
